Development of field experience components for all special education courses in conjunction with New Hanover County Schools

 

Development of permission form approved for use in public schools in order for university students to test, observe, teach, examine records, interview personnel, and prepare diagnostic reports and case studies for special education courses

 

Requirement of clinical teaching, case study, and diagnostic reports to provide training and extensive field experiences with children with disabilities

 

Incorporation of personal diagnostic, tutoring, and consultation experiences in courses to provide realistic examples to students as appropriate
