Tuition + Field Course (6 hours)
$3100 (2006 rate - this may change)

All food, housing, camping, access fees, and transportation are provided and/or prepaid; $300 to $400 personal spending money is recommended.

Detailed Information on Costs

Students can register through UNC-CH and ECU. North Carolina residents at ECU should register at their own school.

Please note that all students, who are not enrolled at ECU, will have to register at the UNC-CH Friday Center. In essence, then students from UNC-CH, JMU, ECSU, UNC-C, WCU, and any other institution will register at the UNC-CH Friday Center at the tuition rate (~ $662.14 - the 2006 rate - this may change) for Geology 128-129 (6 credit hours)..

  • Students buy own food on the trip out and back (3 days each - 6 total days). Field Course provides for evening meal on arrival day.
