Amrutha Sethuram received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from R.V. College of
Engineering, Bangalore, India. She obtained a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University
in 2005. She worked as a research associate at the Lineberger Cancer Center, UNC Chapel Hill and then joined the Face Aging Group at UNCW in 2007.
Her research interests are in the areas of biometrics, pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision and neural networks. She has published research
papers in these areas and has served as the Co-PI on a few research grants.
