Presentation Speech
Good Morning! I am Travis Parrott and I
want to welcome you all to the 2010 employee of the year ceremony here at the
Wilmington Family YMCA. We pride
ourselves on reaching out to the community and giving them a safe and fun
environment for people to come and enjoy.
Each year we give an to an individual who has
shown exceptional performance in the workplace.
We have very high standards for our employee’s and certain criteria must
be met. The recipient who wins will
receive a trophy and have there name placed on a
plaque which will be displayed for all of our YMCA family to see. It’s such an honor to be able to give such an
award to a most deserving person.
This year’s employee of the year has
shown a hard work ethic, shown positive character, and has been a positive
influence on other employees. She has
single handedly become the face of what we pride our organizations core values
on. In her four years with us she has
worked with our summer camp program, lead several aerobics classes, and been a
helping hand on many projects in our community.
She is highly looked upon by all of us here and has been a true blessing
to work with. Her hard work should not
go unrecognized and all of us here are thankful to have you as apart of our
family.
The selection process was determined by
the employees as to who they felt was most deserving of the award. We chose to vote this way to ensure that each
employee had a fair chance of winning the award as voted on by the employees.
Without further adieu I would like
to welcome the 2010 Wilmington Family YMCA Employee of the Year recipient,
Jamie King. Let’s give her a round of
applause.
