For each film, you should read the chapter in the text that discusses it.

Reports will consist of information that will help the class understand the film

and include such topics as the reception of the film at its release, subsequent

changes in the evaluation of the importance of the film,

the director, the producer, the screen writer, actors,

both major and minor, and some discussion of the political

theme of the film.

Reports will be given in class the day the film is shown.

In advance of the presentation, the students scheduled for presentations should

coordinate who is doing which report. Usually this can be done the class

before the report.
