Here you will find mostly American primary source materials, gleaned from about seven years of archival research in some of the dustiest, oldest libraries and archives in the U.S.

Here are materials, restored and recovered, that are a part of the history of American Catholicism, particularly aspects pertaining to devotions and rituals focusing on the afterlife.  Since the mid 1960’s these devotions, books and materials have been de-emphasized, and some of these materials would have been lost forever.
