In general, no make up tests will be given.

You will have several assignments and one project. The project will be a team effort but project grades will be assigned individually to team members based on an assessment of the individual's effort, possibly aided by a peer evaluation by team members. You will be required to demonstrate your project in classonline during presentations scheduled at the end of the semester. If your group fails to present your project at the scheduled time, or if you are absent at your group presentation, you (individually) will receive no credit for the project.

Ignore any grade calculations or totals in the Canvas gradebook.  The following weighting of grades will be used; this weighting is not reflected in the Canvas gradebook. Your homework assignments will make up 18% of your grade, the project will contribute to 22% of your grade;,  the 2 mid-term exams and the final exam will each be worth 20% of your grade. The two mid-terms and the final exam will be weighted as follows: your best performance will be weighted 25%,  your worst performance will be weighted 15%, and the remaining test score will be weighted 20%.

Course grade: A = 90-100, B = 80-89, C = 70-79 etc. The upper and lower 30% of all grade ranges will be assigned + and - modifiers, respectively. For example, a 93 is an A-. There is no A+ grade.
