Textbook: Psychology, 7th edition (2003). Carole Wade and Carol Tavris.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is mandatory. Missed exams require prior approval or a medical excuse (note from physician). Makeups for missed exams will be taken on the final day of class (Wednesday, Dec 3rd).

Drops: The last day to drop a class without a grade is Wednesday, August 27th. Last day to withdraw with a W is October 8th.

Academic Misconduct: Cheating in any form may result in an F in the course and other academic sanctions. Please read the student handbook carefully for policies on academic misconduct. See me if you are having trouble with the course.

Exams: There will be four exams and all will be multiple choice and 50 questions per exam. Bring scantron sheets (form # 882-E) and pencils to the exam.

Grading

Your final grade for the course will be based on four exams, each worth 50 points. Your final grade will be based on the following scale:

A = 186-200 A- = 180-185

B+= 174-179 B = 166-173

B- = 160-165 C+ = 154-159

C =146-153 C- = 140-145

D+=134-139 D = 126-133

D- =120-125 F = 0-119
