The
Wilmington (NC) International Airport (ILM) is in Wilmington and is
served by the following airlines:

This
airport is very convenient to the university, to the conference hotels and to downtown
Wilmington (a 10-15 minute taxi ride will get you to any of these places). You should book air travel as early as
possible to get the best rates.
Some
travelers prefer to fly in and out of Raleigh-Durham (RDU) or Myrtle Beach
(MYR) and use ground transportation from one of those airports to
Wilmington. RDU is approximately 135
miles from Wilmington ( 2 hours), via I-40.
MYR is approximately 75 miles away (1.5 hours), via US 17.
