The Instituto ESTUDIO INTERNACIONAL SAMPERE of Madrid will award two scholarships to be used in the year 2002 for a four-week course of study at any of the ESTUDIO SAMPERE sites in Spain.  Each scholarship will cover the cost of tuition for the program selected, lodging, activities associated with the program, and medical insurance.  Cost of transportation to/from the study site (selected by the scholarship recipient) is not included.

Estudio Internacional Sampere (EIS) is a pioneer institution in the teaching of foreign languages in Spain.  Founded in 1956, it is a family enterprise with a staff of over forty people, including teachers,  administration and management personnel. The EIS schools have an international atmosphere with students from more than twenty countries.  The main characteristics  of the Sampere programs are: INDIVIDUALIZED ATTENTION IN SMALL GROUPS, QUALITY TEACHING IN A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT, QUALIFIED TEACHERS AND UP-TO-DATE MATERIALS.

EIS is also a flexible organization. It offers many starting dates throughout the year, Special Courses designed to fit each individual's needs, social activities, a varied offer of accommodation ... and an endless number of "small" services that make EIS one of the most prestigious Spanish language schools.

ALL the teachers at EIS are college degree or college diploma holders. They make up a co-ordinated and enthusiastic team and many of them have been with the Sampere for many years. The director or co-ordinator organizes the groups and supervises each student's progress.  For more information, please go to
