About this Course | Required Equipment | Resources
Colloquium I (MIT 540) was the first seminar series in the Master of Instructional Technology program. It is followed by this course, MIT 541, Colloquium II, and then MIT 542, the Internship. Colloquium II is designed to help provide experiences that will help the student prepare for future internship experiences. The instructor leading the seminar will invite instructional technology specialists to the colloquium to present lectures on current topics or projects and to describe their roles and responsibilities as an instructional technologists in the field. Some sessions will be in a workshop format. The seminar involves attending each of the presentations or workshops, listening to the invited speakers from the field, and actively participating in the discussions by asking questions and preparing a two-three page report.
