Ms. Brenner’s government class was discussing voting patterns in the United States and was focusing on the disappointingly low percentage of citizens who actually vote. From there, the discussion turned to a similar pattern in their high school’s student body elections. As an outcome of the discussion, the class decided to make student turnout in upcoming school election a class project. They wanted to see if they could increase the number of students who participate in the election.
