Prior to my move to the Watson School of Education fifteen years
ago, I worked as a graduate teaching and research assistant at Florida
State University and as a professor in Teacher Education Institution
in Iran.
My role at Florida
State University
involved teaching, conducting research, and fulfilling requirements to
receive my Ph.D. in instructional technology.
I am deeply committed to human development, and fortunately my work
has allowed me to pursue this passion. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy reading
poetry, reading and writing short stories, running, listening to music,
and watching good movies. I also love hiking and camping. I am married
and have two sons. My older
son is an engineer working on his master's degree while also working for a company. My younger son finished his BS
from NC State a year ago and is now working on his law degree. I am originally from Iran
(click
here if you want to know more about Iran). I immigrated to the
states twenty years ago.

immigrating to the United
