  • Designed & Developed online assessment resource materials for UNC Teaching & Learning with Technology, Summer 2003
  • Participated as a grant reviewer for Comprehensive Schools Reform (CSR) Initiative (Federal and State Level Grant) Fall 2001, Spring 2002, & Spring 2003.
  • Participant of Comprehensive Schools Reform (CSR) Evaluation Initiative (Federal and State Level Evaluation Grant) founded Fall 1999-present.
    As part of this project, I have participated in conducting comprehensive case studies (classroom observation, site interviews, etc.) of a number of schools across the state of NC that received Federal and State Comprehensive Schools Reform Grant.
  • Reviewer of Comprehensive School Reform Grant Proposals for State of North Carolina (paid honorarium).
  • 2000-2001 Member of a team of evaluators for a federally funded evaluation grant to assess NC schools funded by Comprehensive School Reform Grant.
  • 2000 Consultant to North Carolina Teach (NCTeach) for developing training modules.
  • Conducted a three-hour workshop for all secondary interns focused on “teachers as researchers,” and how to conduct an inquiry project during internship.
  • Conducted a two-hour workshop on reflective research and practice for Teacher Leadership Institute as a part of CAPE.
  • Participated in Teacher Leadership Institute's Planning sessions.
  • Provided instructional and technical service to Hillcrest Family Advisory group for Investment Center Grant.
  • Conducted an in-service training workshop for middle grade teachers on reflective teaching.
  • Conducted an in-service training workshop for middle grade teachers on diversity and reflective teaching.
