Mahnaz Moallem

I have served as a chair in 8 master's thesis committees within the department of Specialty Studies (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004).

I have served as a committee member in 10 master's thesis committees within the Watson School of Education and other departments (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004).

I have served as a chair in 9 master's portfolio committees within Department of Specialty Studies, Instructional Technology Master's Program Supervised Master Portfolio, (Fall 2001-present).
I have served as a committee member in 7 master's portfolio committees within Department of Specialty Studies, Instructional Technology Master's Program (Fall 2001-present).

I have supervised more than 10 graduate assistants directly. These students either assisted me in designing and conducting research projects or developing instructional programs and materials. Four of these students assisted me in evaluation of PT3 grant (2001-2004) (1993-present).
I advised an undergraduate student in designing a research study on motivation and applying for a UNCW Undergraduate Research Award, 1998.

I served as a committee member on two undergraduate honors thesis committee (1996, 1997)

I served as an advisor to assist two undergraduate students in designing an honor or special research study (1997, 1997) and supervised a doctoral student in assisting him to design his dissertation study and conduct proper literature review, 1997.

I served as the research advisor for a graduate student. Assisted the student in applying for the UNCW Graduate Student Research Award. Once the grant was awarded, I served as her advisor in conducting and reporting the study (1996)
