Graduate Program Coordinator for Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology, Fall 1999-present.

Evaluator and member of PT3 grant team (a Federal grant to prepare tomorrow's teachers to use technology), 2001-present.

Member, Watson School of Education Technology Council, 2000-present.

Member, Professional Development Systems (PDS) Advisory Committee, 2001-present.

Served on Faculty Reassignment Committee, Fall, 2003.

Served on Faculty Workload Committee. The committee was responsible for developing a comprehensive guidelines and standards for WSE faculty workload and reporting to the dean, 2003-2004.

Chair, Instructional Technology Program Committee, 1999-present.

Served on Technology Committee for WSE New Building, 2002-2003.

Member, Search Committee for Distance/Online Education Position (a joined position with the Academic Affairs and Instructional Technology Program), 2002-2003.

Primary person responsible for preparing materials, documents, etc. for NC State Department of Public Instruction Review of MIT program for M level Licensure Degree, 2001-2002.

Served on Committee for Chancellor Teaching Award, 2001-2002.

Served on Merit Committee (the committee was responsible for reviewing all WSE faculty reports and proposing those who qualified for merit), Spring 2001.

Chair, Search Committee for the Chair Position in the Department of Specialty Studies (for the second time). Invested a significant amount of time in recruiting a chair for the Department of Specialty Studies. We hired the candidate Dec. 2000-2001.

Member, Watson School of Education Curriculum Committee, 1997-2000.

Watson School of Education Library Representative, 1996-2000.

Chair, Search Committee for the Chair Position in the Department of Specialty Studies. Invested a significant amount of time from writing the position description and identifying a list of potential candidates to mailing the position to the potential candidates and finally reviewing and bringing candidates to campus for visit. As a committee, we selected the final candidate and recommended him to the dean, but the process did not result in hiring the candidate, 1999-2000.
