Other Service
1. Service to the department
I have served as a faculty mentor for our new tenured track faculty members.
I have mentored one faculty member (she has received her tenure) and have been
mentoring two new faculty members. In addition to my formal mentorship assignment,
I have informally mentored our newly hired faculty members by reviewing their
papers, attending their classes, reviewing their syllabi and assignments, and
sharing my expertise as needed.
(See Binder # 1 for sample evidence)
