Evaluation: Your grade in Biology 105 is based on 400 points. Of these points, 300
come from lecture tests (3 @100) and 100 from lab quizzes (10 @ 10).
Final grades will be curved. Test 3 will be given during Final Exam Week.
Honor Code: The University honor code will be enforced.
The University of North Carolina at Wilmington is committed to the
proposition that the pursuit of truth requires the presence of honesty
among all involved. It is therefore this institution’s policy that no form
of dishonesty among its students, faculty or administrators will be
tolerated. Although all members of the University community are
encouraged to report occurrences of dishonesty, each individual is
principally responsible for his or her own honesty.
Makeups: Makeup tests will not be given. If you miss one test, you will be given
points equivalent to the mean of the remaining tests. If you miss more
than one test, you will receive a zero on all missed tests. You must take
the Final Examination.
Attendance: Attendance at all lecture and laboratory meetings is your responsibility.
attendance checks will be made regularly and poor attendance will result
in dropping your grade by an entire letter.
