To locate the readings, go to the library’s home page http://library.uncwil.eduFirst, set up a PIN (password) on your library record:  

  1. Click on "My library record.”
  2. "Enter your last name, ID number (no spaces or hyphens) and the PIN you want to use.  
  3. Your PIN can be letters or numbers or a combination of letters and numbers. 
  4. After confirming your PIN (you'll be asked to enter it 2 more times), click "Start Over."
  5. NOTE:  If you retrieve readings from a PC on campus (except in the residence halls) you will not be prompted for this information.  Setting this up allows you to retrieve readings from anywhere.  It also allows you to access databases, check due dates on items you have checked out, renew materials, and place holds on items checked out by someone else. 
  6. If you forget your PIN, the library can delete it so you can reset it.  Call 962-3272 or 962-3760 or go to http://library.uncwil.edu/askref.html for email and chat contacts.   

Now you are ready to go to the Course Reserve system.  

  1. Click on Search Course Reserves in the center of the page.  
  2. On the ERes page, click on "Electronic Reserves and Reserves Pages".  
  3. On the subsequent page, you can search by Course Number SHS 210 or one of our names as Instructor.
  4. After "accepting" the copyright notice, the list of readings displays.  Click on the title of the reading to select the item, then on the “Click here for more information” to retrieve the item.
