Create a NING social networking site individually.
20 Websites (15 points): Project Specification
In a Microsoft Word Document compose a list of 20 web sites that you believe could be of use to you in your future classroom. You will also post the websites on DELICIOUS. Provide a one to two sentence description with each of these web sites. List should include the following:
Spreadsheets (20 points): Project Spefication and Project Tutorial
Use Microsoft Excel to develop an electronic grade book with completed data and analysis for your class. The purpose of this assignment is for the learners to demonstrate their skills in applying Excel in the real-life situation.
Grant Application with Budget (10 points): Project Specification
You have been asked by your principal to put together a classroom technology budget in order to purchase "computer equipment" (both hardware and software) for your classroom.
PowerPoint (20 points): Project Specification and Project Tutorial
You are required to design and develop a multimedia instructional program consisting linear and nonlinear presentation features using PowerPoint.
Digital Movie Production (20 points): Project specification and Project Tutorial
Use Windows Movie Maker to create a 30-60 second digital movie that would enhance the content of your PowerPoint. The movie could include the video you capture, still pictures, music, title and/or caption in text. It is not a requirement that you use a video camera for this project, you may use one if you choose.
Website Evaluation (10 points): Project specification
The purpose of the assignment is to help students develop technology competence on selecting and evaluating appropriate web resources for educational purpose.
Technology Brochure (20 points): Project Specification and Project Tutorial
Develop a brochure or flyer (using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher) to be used with your students. Choose one of the following topics in the linked document and develop a a brochure. Make sure to make the content appropriate for the age level you would like to teach. For example if you are teaching Pre-K you will make the information more for the parents. If you are teaching High School it would be more for the students. Example Brochure.

You will learn basic concepts of web page development and be exposed to simple web development software. In addition, students will gain an understanding of how web page development can be a useful tool for classroom teachers and receive practical application through personal web page development. .
You must develop a minimum of 5 web pages. All pages must be linked together (You should be able to navigate to the other 4 pages from any of the pages in the website).
