To become familiar with computer algebra systems (CAS) by reviewing the Fundamental Theorems of Calculus. Some introductory material on differential equations is also introduced.
The literal translation of the phrase Deja Vu is already seen. This lab is devoted to review of the Fundamental Theorems of Calculus and review of some differential equations. Students learn some of the commands in Maple V and Mathcad by reviewing concepts which they have already seen. Problems include differentiation of integrals as well as a free fall model of the Galileo space craft's probe.
