Those who missed the first class may not know how to find the audio for the Workbook (WB) assignments. You can find the audio files at the FLRC (LH253) or at the publisher’s web site (see #3 below), which is listed in the course syllabus.
I recommend you to download all the audio files for both text book and workbook (separate folders in the FLRC) in the FLRC lab. They are MP3 so you can download to anything you wish. The publisher’s site sometimes has a problem. FLRC may close without a prior notice. So give yourself a plenty time to work on the listening sections (plan ahead)!
Not being able to complete the WB due to technical problems or lab being closed temporarily will still make you obtain zero for the WB assignment. For FLRC, please refer below (copied from the syllabus) or to my course syllabus. Please see the link below to find the lab hours since it is not open all day like other computer labs. Also, Remember to bring your own headphone to listen to the audios since the lab does not provide you one. Any headphone works.
P.S. You need to bring a headphone if you are making up a listening quiz with me (prior e-mail notification t me is necessary to make up. See the course syllabus for more details).
Keep a track of what you have done (if you see only numbers of the each file on your computer instead of description of each file) so that it would be easier for you to find the files for future assignments.
