Module 7: Current Issues

Goal: This module is intended to give you a chance to explore current issues facing UK education.

Tasks:

1)  Search the Internet and read various articles of your choosing related to issues of education generally and curriculum, supervision, and instruction specifically. These issues could be tangential such as immigration. language, or unemployment for example. Find at least 2-3 issues to explore and describe.

3) Write the C-POC 4 assignment. Here you exploring 2-3 keys issues impacting education today in the UK. Email to the instructor.

4) Post your C-POC 4 to NING. Comment on at least 2 other postings. Look for similarities and differences between your posting and other folks.

• What was different? What was the same?
• Did folk's thoughts / opinions of current issues conflict?
• Are there any points of contrast with your issues facing U.K. schools that are also facing U.S. schools?
• Read over your classmates' analysis of current issues...what did you find interesting? Disturbing? Exciting?
