The North Carolina Geographer is published by the North Carolina Geographical Society and serves as a medium for the dissemination of research about North Carolina’s geographic phenomena. The new editorial staff welcomes contributions from geography faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and professional geographers. All submissions should conform to the Guidelines for Authors provided below. Beginning in 2004, The North Carolina Geographer will have a new format with two sections: Research Articles and Carolina Landscapes. Specific guidelines for authors regarding each section are included in the Guide for Authors.

We encourage faculty and students to submit quality manuscripts for upcoming issues.
