When you are ready to run or view your slide show you have two options.
First you can go to the slide show menu , then from the slide show menu choose view show. This will begin your presentation at slide one every time.

The second option is the start show button in the lower left corner of the screen. The difference here is that the start show button will always start from the current slide, which may or may not be the first slide.
