To insert an auto shape like a circle or square. We will be using the drawing toolbar found at the bottom of our window on the left.
Auto Shapes Menu1. Click on the Autoshapes button from the menu that appears click once on basic shapes then go over to the left and click once on the shape you wish to use. (If a large box appears that states,"Place Drawing Here" press the escape key once and it will disapear.


2. You will notice you have a crosshair for a cursor. Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the mouse left or right – up or down to create the shape. Let go of the mouse when the shape reaches the size you desire.


3. You will now notice that by clicking and holding down the mouse on your shape you can move it anywhere on your page. By clicking and holding down on any of the circles in the four corners you can shrink or enlarge your shape. And lastly clicking and holding down the mouse on the green circle at the top of your shape will allow you to rotate the shape.
