Applying designs to your slides. PowerPoint designs are some of the fastest ways for you to create good looking, professional slide shows quickly.
1. Go up to the Format Menu from the Format Menu choose Slide Design. You will now notice over on the right that lots of designs are available. These designs come with preset backgrounds, fonts, font colors, and graphics.

2. To apply a design just double click on the design of your choice from the right.
Note: Applying a design, applies that design to all slides in your presentation. If you want a different background for a future slide you will have to manually change it.
