Technology Safety Brochure Assignment – You are to create only one of the below brochure’s using Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Word. This is to be an informational brochure. It should be a information handout that you would want to give to your students. You may do this assignment with a partner. You are to submit the brochure as an attachment to an email in Taskstream. Submit your email with the brochure attached to Beth Allred and Jeff Ertzbergerby June 9th. The brochure can be a one page brochure, or it could be a tri-fold brochure.

Brochure 1) Create a brochure on what computer viruses are and how to stop them.

Brochure 2) Create a brochure on how to safeguard personal information of you and your students. This brochure should cover Phishing also.

Brochure 3) Create a brochure on copyright and what a teacher should do if they have questions.

Brochure 4) Create a brochure on plagiarism and what a teacher can do to try and prevent it.

Brochure 5) Create a brochure on ergonomics and contain tips and techniques for students and teachers.

Brouchure 6) Create a brochure on Social Netowrking and contain tips on how students and parents should use and administer such sites safely.

No matter which of the above you choose, your brochure should have the following characteristics:

• Make this something you would hand out to your future classroom students.
• Be attractive formatting and have well-organized information.
• Have all of the necessary information to make this topic clear.
• Writing is done in complete sentences. Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the brochure.
• The graphics go well with the text and there is a good mix of text and graphics.
• Have citations of sources accurately listed on the brochure. Tell where you got your information from.

Remember: Submit the brochure as an attachment to an email in Taskstream. Send the email with the brochure attached to Beth Allred and Jeff Ertzberger by June 9th.
