DERM Monitoring Program

• Initiated in response to Taylor Slough and C-111 concerns
• Funded by SFWMD
• Samples about 75 stations in four basins
• Results indicate that upper basins have more Halodule and Ruppia but sparse Thalassia
• The upper basins may reflect the more historical species composition of Florida Bay
