We have been over all of these in class, so you should be able to read them/translate them if you see them on a test, quiz, class assignment, or whatever. On the test I will give you a few lines from one of them to translate.

Grammar: Focus on Subjunctive uses:

conditional sentences (know hoe to read both simple fact [indicative] and contrary to fact [subjunctive] sentences

You should be able to read/translate sentences using these structures.

Vocabulary:

You will be specifically tested on the vocabularies collected here. These are the vocabularies from the various specific readings through the term that we have specifically studied/reviewed. Some of these have flash cards available on the Old Assignments page.

Test format:

The test will consist of:

(1a) Vocabulary: a vocabulary matching exercise drawing from all vocabularies
(1b) A dictionary form exercise where you will give dictionary form and meaning in sentence from underlined words in a connected reading passage
(2) A Gender-number-case exercise from a connected reading passage
(3) A verb analysis from a connected reading passage
(4) Translation of several subjunctive sentences from the connected reading passage
(5) Translation of a few key phrases from various Catullus poems we have read
(6) Translation of 4-5 lines of a Catullus poem we have already translated in class.
