CTA is a hypothetical business created to provide students with a working professional environment.

CTA originated to help students design and implement professional workshops in business and educational settings.  This is an opportunity for companies to enhance performance and for CTA associates to become competent professionals in consulting.  In addition, the students learn to facilitate professional discussions in the video conferencing environment.

                                                                        CTA's Objectives:

1.  To offer custom designed workshops and seminars to help clients develop effective communication skills for future professional endeavors.

2.  To provide a professional environment for associates to design and conduct competent seminars. 

3.  To implement seminars in the video conferencing environment.

The CTA website is a collaborative effort:

• Patricia Comeaux, CTA director and professor, conceptualized the site and designed the course and learning projects.
• Tom Wells, CTA associate and student, created the photos by making stills from the course videos which were recorded in the UNCW distance learning rooms.
• Kelly North, CTA associate and student, created the technical components of the site using the course design, learning projects, and photos.
• Adonica M. Long, CTA associate and student, updated and reorganized the site for student use.
