Graduate Statistics

Statistics is central to all areas of research in psychology.  It is perhaps the most important class that any graduate student will take.   You will learn research and writing skills from your advisor.  You will learn statistics from me.  The goal of this course is to provide graduate students a foundation in statistics.  Because statistics is a huge field, we can only cover a fraction of a percent in one semester.  So I teach statistical theory and how to apply it to simple inferential statistics (e.g., regressions, t-tests, etc) with the hope that students will be able to use this foundation to continue to learn statistics on their own. This course also has a lab devoted to learning SAS.
