COM Studies Day

COM Studies Day is a day long celebration of the communication discipline that presents students with the opportunity to engage with alumni and faculty while learning how to successfully take their next steps after college.  Through events such as alumni panels and networking sessions, students hear from and interact with grads.  The Dress for Success Fashion Show features students as models, skit performers, and producers in an interactive and informative event that teaches students how to dress appropriately and prepare for interviews and other work-related settings.  A social concludes the day with additional networking opportunities with alumni, faculty, and department friends.  Whether students are entering their last semester at UNCW or just starting out in the major, everyone can receive valuable information from COM Studies Day that will help them prepare for life after graduation.

“The [COM Studies Day] panelists were so inspirational. They gave great advice that can still help us before we graduate.”
