Animal Cognition Research (and Learning and Pharmacology)

Drs. Kate Bruce & Mark Galizio/ Fall 2010

The purpose of this seminar is to introduce students to the field of animal cognition by experiential learning. Can you teach a rat an abstract concept?

Once rats have learned abstract concepts, can pharmacological intervention affect their behavior?

We will discuss the data you collect each week at our group meeting plus read articles by experts in the field.
