Call for papers:
We are pleased to announce that SLINKI, Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina, will be hosted at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina on January 21, 2012. We invite abstracts for 20-minute presentations with 10 minutes for questions. We also invite abstracts for poster presentations. While the focus of the conference is on work by researchers in Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina, we welcome all submissions. There will be a one-session at a time format, with several sessions throughout the day focusing on all aspects of Spanish Linguistics. The poster session will be held during the lunch break. Abstracts should be no more than one page in length, in either English or Spanish. Abstract submission is now closed.

conference will take place in Morton Hall, room 100, on the
UNCW campus (601 South College Road, 28403). Parking is free and available to
all in a faculty lot just in front of Morton Hall.
