Edit Procedures

1) Bear Hall 170 is located on the far end of Bear Hall on the first floor.

2) Work quietly.  Use headphones if necessary, there is a classroom next door.

3) COM 380 students have priority.

Others must see Dr. Bolduc before commencing editing.

5) ALWAYS check your 'scratch' disk settings before you start editing.  This must be done every single time you turn the computer on.

6) Log out of your account and leave the Mac computers on when you are finished.

Equipment Return / Check-out

1) Return all charged batteries to the battery shelf. Do NOT leave them in the camera case.

2) Place all ‘dead’ batteries on the charger. Make sure the charger power strip is turned on.

3) If you need a camera and they are all checked out, call the person with the camera you want to arrange an exchange.

4) Return cams checked-out overnight by 9:00 a.m. the next morning.
