Welcome back to school! Down below you will find the syllabus for the semester with all of the rules and regulations. Please be sure to read that material since it is a contract between you and me. In addition there is the laboratory requirements list. You will need to print this document for use in lab.
We will have four tests during the semester, separated roughly by about 4 weeks. Each test will be written, short and long answer. We will have a comprehensive, 100 multiple choice final exam, and a final lab practical. I will announce the dates for tests as far beforehand as I can. Follow the syllabus to see the materials being covered in any given test.
There are two texts that you should buy: Carlson, Patten's Foundations of Embryology, 6 ed, and Mathews and Schoenwolf, Atlas of Descriptive Embryology, 5th.
If you would like, please bring me a CD or a flash drive and I'll burn all of the PowerPoint presentations that I'll be using in class.
I will record all of the lectures and they will be made available to you at this site as mp3 files.
Lab will meet on Wednesday's at 2:00pm (or immediately after class) in Friday 3014.
Good luck!
