In conclusion. . .

In the news and in entertainment, images and photos are cropped and changed in a number of ways for various effects.  Sometimes images are cropped to emphasize a truth or to downplay/hide or make implicit (or even make strange) an element within an image.

As a composer of images and text, use images to help make a point.  Consider your composition, selection, and emphasis, but most importantly how a reader or viewer will interpret that image.

With what time is left in class, please meet in your groups to discuss 2 things:

• Presentations for groups 2, 3, and 4
• The video project:  brainstorm 2 ideas: one as a metaphor for the Internet and one as a commercial.

If time permits we'll report back to the class your good ideas.
