csc 592: Special Topics on  Networks Modeling and Simulation (3) Prerequisite: CSC344

Modeling and Simulation of computer networks. Probability spaces and probability calculus, random variables and their distribution functions, the calculus of expectations. Markov chains; birth-death processes; Poisson processes; single queue; network of queues and their simulation. Simulation of Computer Networks for performance prediction.

Modeling tool from will be used for the modeling and simulation of computer networks. Minimal System Requirements  to install ITGuru
