csc495: Seminar in Computer Science (1)
Prerequisite: Junior or Senior standing and consent of instructor

Meeting Day, Time, Place:  Monday 4:00-4:50,  CIS 1012

There is a 5% point penalty for each day of unexcused absence.....

Course Expectations:  Purpose of this course is to provide the students with practical experience in making oral presentations on technical topics. Each student will be expected to present a  technical seminar on an assigned topic. The topic assignment will be made by random drawing on the first day of the class (Monday August 24). Topics of the seminars have  Web-technologies as the common theme during Fall 2009 semester.  Tentative schedule of seminars along with  list of topics, speakers,  and links to  useful material on the topic appears at Seminar Schedule. Upload your paper to Blackboard on the day your present your seminar.

In addition, each student will participate in the evaluation of every student’s presentations (including themselves).

Submit your PowerPoint slides after your presentation as a email attachment to adharg@uncw.edu. No credit is awarded without the submission.
